Getting started
This page covers the one‑time setup every OnAccount feature relies on: making sure your store is ready for B2B, installing the app, and choosing a plan. Do this once, then turn on individual features from their own guides.Few readersOnAccount — User Guide
Welcome 👋 This guide explains what OnAccount does, the features available to you, and how to turn each one on. It's written for merchants and their staff — no code or developer setup required. Everything here is done from the Shopify admin and the Shopify POS app.Few readersOnAccount Integrations

Credit limits
Managing credit limits
A credit limit caps how much a company can owe on net terms at one time. You set limits here, and every other feature — online checkout, payment collection — reads the same values. Setting limits is usually the first thing you do, because the other features have nothing to enforcFew readersEnforce credit limits in your online store
This protects your credit exposure on the web: when a B2B buyer's order would push their company over its credit limit on net terms, checkout is blocked with a clear message. Pay‑in‑full orders are never affected.Few readers
Collecting payments
Let buyers pay invoices from their account
This lets a B2B buyer sign in to their customer account, open the Delegate console, and make a payment toward their company's outstanding invoices on their own — no cashier needed. They enter an amount, OnAccount spreads it across the unpaid orders, and they're handed an invoice Few readersCollect company payments at POS
This lets a cashier take a payment toward a business customer's outstanding balance from the register. You enter an amount; OnAccount spreads it across the company's unpaid orders for you. Payment can be taken three ways: charge a saved card, record a manual payment (cash, chequeFew readers

This page turns Delegate on and wires up everything it needs. Steps 1 and 2 apply to every Delegate setup. Steps 3 and 4 are only needed for the Purchase rules & approvals module — they're what make approvals bind at the storefront and checkout. Once a company has an admin and the console is reachable, the admin runs everything below from their own customer account — you don't touch it. Which sections they see follows the company's feature modules.Few readersSpend rules & approval flows
Spend rules and approval flows are how a company admin caps what staff can buy and routes larger carts for sign-off. They're part of the Purchase rules & approvals module — turn it on for the company first (see Set up Delegate), and wire up the storefront enforcement (Steps 3–4) Few readersWhat your buyers experience
This is what governance looks like from the buyer's side once spend rules and approval flows are in place — for the person placing the order and for the person approving it.Few readersTest & troubleshoot Delegate
1. Set activation to Manual, opt in one test company, and assign yourself (or a test contact) as its company admin. 2. As that admin, open the console, invite a staff member with a location, and create a rule — say Amount per order over $500 → requires approval, assigned to that Few readers
