OnAccount Integrations
OnAccount works fully on its own. This page covers how it connects to its companion app for on‑account ordering at the register.
On‑account ordering at the POS (B2B POS app)
B2B POS is a separate Shopify app that adds a single tile to the Shopify POS app — B2B POS Orders — so a cashier can place an on‑account B2B order at the counter. It's installed and billed separately from OnAccount.
How they work together
The B2B POS Orders tile needs to know a company's credit limit and outstanding balance to decide whether an order fits — and those live in OnAccount:
- With OnAccount installed and limits set, the tile shows a credit summary, calculates a required deposit when an order would exceed available credit, and blocks the order until that deposit is collected. The limits it uses are exactly the ones you manage in Credit limits.
- Without OnAccount (or if it's temporarily unreachable), the B2B POS Orders tile still places orders — it just performs no credit check.
So if you take B2B orders at a physical counter and want credit limits enforced there, keep OnAccount installed alongside B2B POS.
Setting it up
- Make sure OnAccount is installed and on an active plan.
- Set your credit limits in Credit limits.
- Install the B2B POS app and follow its own guide.
