Troubleshooting "Flashing" Checkout Button in MinCart

After installing MinCart, if you notice a "flashing" checkout button when adding products and attempting to checkout. This issue is typically caused by a conflict with another app that constantly updates the cart: each update makes MinCart check your limits again, and the checkout button waits while it does.

MinCart now ignores cart requests that can't change your limits: reading the cart, and updates that only change cart attributes, the cart note or a discount code. Apps that only do that, such as most date picker apps, no longer make the checkout button flash.

Common Causes

Apps that change the cart's items repeatedly: automatic discount, free gift or bundle apps that add, remove or update items in the cart to apply their offer. Each change can affect a limit, so MinCart checks again.

If you still see the checkout button flash, contact our support with the list of apps installed on your store.
