Integrations

B2B POS places B2B company orders on its own. To enforce credit limits at the register — show a credit summary and require a deposit when an order would exceed a company's available credit — it integrates with the OnAccount app, leveraging the credit limits OnAccount sets and applying them on the POS tile.

Enforcing credit limits (OnAccount app)

OnAccount is a separate Shopify app where you configure company credit limits and where each company's outstanding balance is tracked. It's installed and billed separately from B2B POS.

How they work together

  • With OnAccount installed and limits set, the B2B POS Orders tile shows a credit summary for the company and location, calculates a required deposit when an order would exceed available credit, and blocks the order until that deposit amount is set.
  • Without OnAccount (or if it's temporarily unreachable), the tile still places orders — it just performs no credit check.

You don't configure anything inside B2B POS for this: as long as OnAccount is installed on the same store with limits set, the B2B POS Orders tile picks them up automatically.

Setting it up

  1. Install the OnAccount app on the same store and put it on the Credit plan or higher (credit limits are on OnAccount's Credit plan).
  2. Set your company / location credit limits in OnAccount.
  3. Place an order from the B2B POS Orders tile — the credit summary now appears, and deposits are enforced.

For configuring credit limits, see the OnAccount guide: Managing credit limits.
