Activation Rules:
Activation rules are a powerful feature that lets you create additional conditions to control when a limit is active. The limit will only be active if all the specified conditions are met.
These rules can be combined using "AND" or "OR" logic to provide highly customizable limitations based on various conditions.
If you are using Shopify Plus, you will have access to additional rule types that are derived from the checkout extensions.
Each rule has three key parts:
- Type: Defines the kind of rule
Plus includes both standard limitations and exclusive Plus limitations.
Condition:
Sets the criteria that must be met.
Value:
Specifies the parameter against which the condition is tested.
The limit will only be active if the calculated result of all the rules is TRUE.
The Limit Type rule is one of the most powerful rules in the Quantity Limit App. It allows you to create limits that activates based on other items in the cart.
