Setting Up Mixed Case Minimums with Multiples
This guide will show you how to configure MinCart to require customers to purchase packs of items in multiples of 6, 12, 18, or 24 to complete checkout.
Ensure all the packs you want to apply the limit to are in a single collection.
Follow these steps to create a new collection and add products to it:
Navigate to Products – Go to the Products section in your dashboard.
Select Collections – Click on the Collections tab.
Create a New Collection – Click on Create Collection to start a new collection.
Enter a Title – Give your collection a descriptive name.
Add Products – Select and add products to your collection.
Once you've added the necessary products, save your collection. Your new collection is now ready for use!
Navigate to MinCart and create a new limit.
Configure the limit settings:
Limit Type: Collection
Limit Name: Assign a unique name to identify the limit easily (for internal reference only).
Activation Dates: Leave as today to start immediately.
Active: Leave checked.
Set Audience and Exclusions:
Limit Audience: Everyone
Tags Exclusion: Leave blank.
Select Items to Target:
Click Select Collection and choose the collection you created earlier.
Set Quantity Restrictions:
By Quantity: 6
Advanced Settings (Force Limit): Leave unchecked.
Quantity Limits Exclusions: Leave as is.
Customize Quantity Limit Messaging:
Adjust the Quantity Limit Texts to clarify to customers that they must purchase in quantities of 6, 12, 18, or 24.
Final Adjustments:
Activation Rules: Leave as is.
Save Your Settings.
Your MinCart limit is now set up, ensuring customers can only purchase packs in the specified multiples.
