# How to Require a Purchase from One Collection to Unlock Another Collection

This guide explains how to set up two limitations with one using activation rules. These rules will ensure that a\*\*specific collection is unlocked only when a product from another collection is added to the cart.

### Step 1: Create the First Limit

1. **Limit Type:** Select **Collection**.
2. **Limit Name:** Assign a clear and descriptive name. For example: *"Unlock Collection by Adding a Product from Another Collection"*.
3. **Activation Dates:** Leave the default settings so the rule starts immediately.
4. **Enforce on the storefront:** turn it off; this limit only serves as the condition of the second limit.
5. **Audience Type:** Set to **Everyone**.
6. **Tags Exclusion:** Leave this field blank.
