# Getting started - Molsoft B2B Orders for POS

This page covers the one‑time setup the B2B POS Orders tile relies on: making sure your store is ready for B2B, installing the app, and choosing a plan. Do this once, then add the tile from the [B2B orders at POS](https://molsoft.crisp.help/en/article/place-b2b-orders-at-pos-6eyod3/) guide.

## What you need first

### 1. A Shopify store set up for B2B

B2B POS works with Shopify's native **B2B** (Companies). Before anything else, make sure you have:

* A Shopify plan that includes B2B, and
* At least one **Company**, with one or more **Company Locations**, and a **contact** assigned to a location.

You manage these in **Shopify admin → Customers → Companies**. If a customer isn't a contact on a company with a location, the tile stays turned off for them by design — there's no business account to put the order on.

*Shopify admin → Customers → Companies, showing a company with at least one location.*
### 2. Payment terms on your company locations (recommended)

The tile reads each location's **payment terms** from Shopify B2B to set the due date and any deposit. Set them per location so terms and deposits behave the way you expect:

**Shopify admin → Customers → Companies → *(company)* → *(location)* → Payment terms.**

There you can choose a terms template (for example, *Net 30*) and an optional deposit percentage. A location set to **pay in full** is paid at the time of sale.

## Install the app

Install B2B POS from the app listing (or the install link you were given).

When asked to approve permissions, accept them — the app only requests what it needs to read companies and products and to create B2B orders on your behalf. If you're ever asked to re‑approve after an update, that's a normal permissions refresh.

Installing makes the app available, but it **doesn't place the tile for you**: to use it at the register you'll **add the B2B POS Orders tile to your POS grid** — see [B2B orders at POS](https://molsoft.crisp.help/en/article/place-b2b-orders-at-pos-6eyod3/). That's a required step, done once in your Shopify admin (it applies to all registers).

---

## Choose a plan

The B2B POS Orders tile is included with an **active plan**, so subscribing is required before the tile becomes usable.

1. Open the app and go to **Plans**.
2. Pick a plan and confirm. Billing is handled on a secure Shopify page.
3. You're returned to the app with the plan active.
