# B2B POS — User Guide

Welcome 👋 B2B POS adds **B2B ordering to the Shopify POS app**, so a cashier or sales rep can place an order for a business customer at the counter and put it on the company's account. This guide is written for **merchants and their staff** — no code or developer setup required.

> **New here?** Start with [**Getting started**](https://molsoft.crisp.help/en/article/getting-started-molsoft-b2b-orders-for-pos-1b0jo6l/) — it walks you through installing the app, picking a plan, and the one‑time Shopify B2B setup the tile relies on.

## What B2B POS does

B2B POS adds one tile to the Shopify POS app — **B2B POS Orders**. With it, a cashier can:

* Add a **business customer** to a POS cart and place an **order** that uses the company's **payment terms** (buy now, pay later).
* Choose a **delivery method** — counter pickup, a live shipping rate, or a custom shipping line.
* Capture a **deposit** up front when one is required, and leave the balance on terms.
* See a **credit summary** for the company and location, when credit limits are available through the **OnAccount** integration (see [Integrations](https://molsoft.crisp.help/en/article/integrations-dyprp1/)).

## Feature at a glance

| Feature | Where it lives | Who uses it | Guide |
| ---- |
| **Place B2B orders at POS** | Shopify POS → **B2B POS Orders** tile | Cashier / sales rep | [B2B orders at POS](https://molsoft.crisp.help/en/article/place-b2b-orders-at-pos-6eyod3/) |

> 🤝 **Want credit limits enforced at the register?** B2B POS **integrates with the OnAccount app** to leverage the credit limits it sets — see [Integrations](https://molsoft.crisp.help/en/article/integrations-dyprp1/).

## A few terms used throughout

* **Company / company location** — Shopify B2B models a business as a *Company* with one or more *Company Locations*. A buyer is a *contact* assigned to a location.
* **On account / net terms** — the customer takes the goods now and pays the balance later, according to the location's payment terms.
* **Pay in full** — the order is paid at the time of sale.
* **Deposit** — an amount collected up front, with the rest left on payment terms.
* **Credit limit** — the ceiling on how much a company is allowed to owe at once (available via [Integrations](https://molsoft.crisp.help/en/article/integrations-dyprp1/)).
