Apply Minimum Cart Value for Specific Products
This tutorial explains how to set up a minimum cart value for specific products.
Step 1: Create a Collection
Before setting up the cart limit, you’ll need to create a collection to exclude specific products from this limit.
- Navigate to Products > Collections > Create Collection.
- Add all products to this collection except the products that require a minimum cart value to checkout.
This collection will act as an exclusion in your limit setup.
Step 2: Set Up the Cart Limit
Now that the collection is ready, follow these steps to configure the cart limit:
- Go to the Limits section in your app and create a new limit.
- Use the following settings:
- Limit Type: Whole Cart
- Limit Name: Assign a unique name to help identify the limit’s purpose (for internal reference only).
- Activation Dates: Leave as default to activate immediately.
- Active: Ensure this is checked to make the limit active.
- Audience Type: Set to "Everyone."
- Tags Exclusion: Leave this blank.
- Set Limits: Choose By Total Price.
- Minimum Cart Price: Enter the minimum amount a customer must spend to proceed to checkout if the specified products are in their cart.
- Force Limit: Leave unchecked.
- Price Limit Exclusions:
- Click on Exclude Collections.
- In the pop-up, select Exclude Collections and choose the collection you created earlier.
- Click Select to save the exclusion.
